GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION: Only tourism-related events (i.e. events with the potential to attract an audience from outside the immediate Iberville Parish area) will be considered. An event should be of interest to, and open to, the general public. Also, organizer contact information must be included: phone number, email and/or website address.
Events NOT likely to be considered: exceedingly localized events such as educational classes and workshops; cocktail receptions and happy hours; summer camp programs; church, civic and community meetings/functions; graduations and homecomings; family or class reunions and events that primarily draw specific groups such as scouts and school groups.

Annual event held on Friday during National Library Week. A Time Honored Mardi Gras parade tradition of non-motorized vehicles highlighting our pre-schooler youths. Parade participants limited to youths only in a non‐motorized parade float. Float rider must be accompanied by parent or guardian. There is no admission fee. We are very pleased to announce the opening of Westside Farmers Market. This new market will open on April 8, 2017 in conjunction with the Annual Spring Festival. The market will begin on the grounds of downtown Plaquemine, LA around such wonderful sites at the Iberville Museum, Iberville Lockhouse and St. John the Evangelist Church. Baton Rouge Corvette Club’s annual “Labor of Love” will be held at the Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park. All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. Cars, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome and the entry fee per vehicle is $40. The Iberville Community Theatre presents Sour Grapes of Wrath a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre to be held April 29. Dinner and dessert are included with each ticket, plus cash bar. Each guests receives a complimentary glass of wine/beer with dinner ticket. This is an interactive theatre with guests playing roles and a mystery to be solved.
