This documentary tells the story of Amanda Grace, who began her teaching career at The Bayou Paul Colored School in 1936 at just 19 years of age. She left a lasting legacy and impacted many lives. Now you have the chance to hear her story.

If you love crawfish then the Annual Bayou Pigeon If you love crawfish then the Annual Bayou Pigeon Crawfest is the place to be this weekend! Featuring both arts/crafts and outdoorsmen vendor booths, crawfish races, live and silent auctions, raffle drawings, and plenty of crawfish inspired foods to choose from. The event takes place Saturday, June 6 from 9am to 9pm at the Bayou Pigeon Heritage Association.
